Rob Shoaf

Rob Shoaf, P.E., NACE CP Specialist, President

Rob Shoaf

As President, Rob is responsible for overseeing the daily business operations of Point Integrity, including business practices, sales activities, and product and services development. Rob is a licensed professional engineer in the state of New Jersey and has acquired the highest cathodic protection certification available in the industry, Cathodic Protection Specialist CP-4, from the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE). Rob is highly regarded within the industry for his advanced training and almost 30 years of experience. He manages integrity projects, personnel, budgets and regulation compliance with expert precision.

Prior to founding Point Integrity, Rob played an integral role for Williams Gas Pipeline, formerly Transcontinental Gas Pipeline, one of the nation's largest gas transmission companies. For seven of his 15 years at Williams, Rob was the Team Lead of Williams-Transco's Princeton Division Pipeline Integrity Group, managing a staff of field technicians and integrity engineers. Rob also worked for four years as a design engineer at IDS Engineering and Eagleton Engineering where he was responsible for multiple liquid and gas pipeline projects for Exxon Pipeline, Mobil Pipeline, and Shell Exploration and Production. Rob received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, and began his career at Texas Eastern Products Pipeline (TEPPCO).

Brian Fruhling

Brian Fruhling

As Chief Operations Officer, Brian is responsible for project scheduling, quality control and continuous improvement of safety and training programs. On most workdays you'll find Brian coordinating multiple construction crews, monitoring quality of construction work, and ensuring that client project needs are exceeded. Brian is an Engineer possessing 25 years of hands-on experience with major pipeline integrity consulting and construction firms. His expertise in the field is second to none. Prior to becoming a partner at Point Integrity, Brian was hired by Jupiter PCC, an established bridge rehabilitation company, to create their new pipeline corrosion control division from scratch. He was responsible for all daily field activities, sales and marketing, bids and proposals, cash flow, and invoicing. With Brian's leadership, a division office was also opened in Hooksett, NH to help facilitate the growing need for services provided by this new corrosion control division of Jupiter in the New England region. Educated at Drexel University, Brian also worked for Corrpro Companies, Inc. where he was Construction Manager for their East Coast operations and managed projects for Algonquin Gas, Tennessee Gas Pipeline, Iroquois Gas Pipeline, Sunoco, Buckeye, Delaware River Port Authority and Seabrook Nuclear Plant.
